Play Piano is the ideal course for those who want to learn piano. Using the latest Yamaha digital pianos, the course is based around the highly acclaimed series of tutor books from Alfred publishing - and we're able to offer a variety of linked courses, tailored to students in different age groups.

Junior Course - for younger students, age 6 and 7

Later Beginners - for students age 8 to 12

Older Learner - for students age 12 and upwards

Adult Beginners and Returners - for adults wishing to play for the first time, and those wishing to return to playing.

For younger children (4 and 5) we have our Young Musicians course, designed to 'feed into' the piano courses.

All the courses lead to accredited Grade exams from Trinity College.

But there is so much more to music making than training for exams, and whilst these are very useful, so much will be missed if too much time is spent simply on exams.

To make sure this doesn't happen, these courses feature much else - music theory, ensemble playing, concerts and so on, to give a rounded musical education.
